The light pig bristles have less tension and are suitable for softer effects and textures. The brushes have a matt black lacquered handle with a length between 15-16.5 cm. The width of the ferrules is between 0.4-1.2 cm. You will receive sizes 2, 6, 10 and 14 respectively. The brushes are excellent for painting very natural representations of many motifs that occur in nature. Thanks to their structure, organic surfaces of plants, leaves, trees, bushes, animal skins, hair and fur structures can be painted in great detail - regardless of the paint material. Fan brushes are also frequently used in abstract painting, gilding and cosmetics. Bristle brushes are ideal for impasto oil and acrylic paints, as the split fibres ensure an even application of paint. Bristle brushes are not suitable for water-based paints, as they cannot hold the water. Pig bristles do not taper to a point at the end, but have a so-called flag. Each hair tip is split into several fine fibres and therefore guarantees an even distribution of the paint application. The ferrule is made of seamless aluminium to prevent rust. This way, it remains beautifully silver-coloured for a long time. The brushes are easy to clean with water or brush cleaners. When the bristle tips are used for a longer period of time, the fibre splitting continues downwards, which means that the excellent processing properties are fully retained even if the bristles shorten due to use. In addition, the brushes have a seamless silver ferrule. The brush body is glued in itself and to the ferrule so that the hairs sit firmly in the brush and do not come loose as far as possible.
