The light-coloured pig bristles have less tension and are suitable for softer effects and textures. The brushes have a matt black lacquered handle with a length of between 15-16.5 cm. The ferrules are between 0.4-1.2 cm wide and are available in sizes 2, 6, 10 and 14. In painting, the brushes are ideal for very natural depictions of many motifs found in nature. Thanks to their structure, organic surfaces of plants, leaves, trees, bushes, animal fur, hair and fur structures can be created in great detail - regardless of the colour material. Fan brushes are also frequently used in abstract painting, gilding and cosmetics. Bristle brushes are ideal for pasty oil and acrylic paints in particular, as the split fibres ensure an even application of paint. Bristle brushes are not suitable for aqueous paints as they cannot hold the water. Pig bristles are not pointed at the end, but have a so-called flag. Each hair tip is split into several fine fibres and therefore guarantees an even distribution of the paint application. The ferrule is made of seamlessly processed aluminium so that no rust spots can form. It therefore remains a beautiful silver colour for a long time. The brushes are easy to clean with water or brush cleaners. During prolonged use of the bristle tips, the fibre splitting continues downwards, which means that the excellent processing properties are fully retained even if the bristles are shortened during use. The brushes also have a seamless silver ferrule. The body of the brush is glued to itself and to the ferrule so that the hairs sit firmly in the brush and do not come loose.
