The OBO Bettermann PDP-2-48-I is a highly advanced surge arrester specifically designed to protect data transmission devices in measurement and control technology. This device provides reliable lightning and surge protection and is suitable for use in multi-core systems. With a maximum continuous operating AC voltage of 37 V and a maximum continuous operating DC voltage of 52 V, the PDP-2-48-I ensures safe and stable data transmission. The surge arrester is designed for frequencies of up to 100 MHz and offers a protection level of 170 V between wire and wire, as well as 1600 V between wire and ground. Installation is straightforward on a TH35 DIN rail, making it easy to integrate into existing systems. Its compact design, with a width of only 12.5 mm, allows for space-saving integration in control cabinets.
