The BETTERMANN MCF38-NAR-TNC+FS is a highly advanced combined surge arrester designed specifically for mounting on 40 mm busbars in TN-C systems. This Type 1+2 combined surge arrester provides effective protection for end devices with a protection level of 1.5 kV. It is designed to divert lightning currents of up to 38 kA (10/350) and meets the stringent requirements of VDE 0100-534 as well as VDE 0185-305 (IEC 62305). The combined surge arrester is ideal for applications in buildings with lightning protection or overhead line supply, offering a reliable solution for surge protection. With a maximum follow current extinguishing capacity of 50 kA and a maximum pre-fuse of 160 A gL/gG, it is suitable for various application scenarios. Additionally, it features a potential-free changeover contact for remote signaling, facilitating monitoring and maintenance.
