Product details

The M-Bus data logger MLogX is a key component in a system for capturing energy consumption data. It acts as a link between an M-Bus network and energy management software or the remote meter reading software VADEV. The connected M-Bus network is read cyclically by the data logger. The reading interval can be parameterized for each meter (5/15/60 minutes). The collected data is stored as M-Bus raw data, including timestamps, on the data logger's SD card. The subsequent interpretation of the M-Bus telegrams is carried out exclusively in the reading software, such as energy management software or in the ZFA software. At a parameterizable interval, the files are copied from the SD card to an FTP server (PUSH operation). The reading software performs a transfer of the files from the FTP server. After interpreting the M-Bus raw data, the entire content of the M-Bus telegram (RSP_UD2 telegram) is available for further processing. From the individual meter readings, the ZFA software can generate load profiles and snapshot values. Data transmission via GPRS can be secured by using FTPS. Additionally, access to the M-Bus can be made at any time through the USB or Ethernet interface, similar to a level converter. The device is supplied with an SD card. To log temperature data with the MLogX, you can use the M-Bus temperature converter TC-M.
