The planer cutter comes with 6 carbide inserts that are enhanced with the rare precious metals TaC and TiC. This improves impact toughness and wear resistance, increases density, ensures better compactness, prevents bubble formation, and guarantees a uniform and dense metallographic structure, which extends the durability of the planer cutter. The flat shaft design ensures vibration-free rotation and allows for safe operation.

The 8 mm planer cutter is made from a tungsten carbide alloy with excellent heat and wear resistance. It prevents the drill from becoming dull due to overheating and ensures the surface quality of the workpiece. The planer cutter has a diameter of 37 mm and a shaft of 8 mm. The body material is made of hard carbon steel and comes with 6 interchangeable 12 mm 4-sided inserts made of tungsten carbide.

The planer cutter is suitable for use on CNC and automatic routers, as well as for handheld and table-mounted plunge routers with sleds. It is recommended for flattening, renewing, or planing the surface of wooden boards.
