Nord-Lock® wedge lock washers, steel to DIN 25201, made from steel EN 1.7182, through-hardened with a zinc flake coating. The bolted connection is secured by clamping force instead of friction. The inside features wedge surfaces, while the outside has radial ribs. These washers are reusable. Special version: Enlarged outer diameter to increase the contact surface, recommended for use with slotted holes or on soft materials such as aluminum.
