Further details: The fire protection plug is permanently elastic, largely closed-cell, cylindrical foam that forms an insulating layer when exposed to heat.

Application: It is used for smoke-tight cable penetration seals in fire protection sections, especially in rooms sensitive to dust, fibers, and moisture, as well as in and around electrical installation ducts for sealing cable penetrations in walls and ceilings in accordance with DIN 4102 Part 9. It is approved for fire resistance class S 90.

The technical specifications of the general type approval Z-19.53-2470 must be observed during planning and implementation. Fill openings and gaps with BSM 90 fire protection compound. Please observe the additional regulations for use in functional integrity.
