The two central grooves of the NS-2, in conjunction with the tire's V-shaped profile, enhance water drainage and thus reduce the risk of aquaplaning. In dry conditions, the V-shaped profile ribs ensure an even distribution of pressure, allowing the entire contact area to be utilized evenly for power transmission. The design with two central, circumferential tread grooves can efficiently redirect water and significantly improve wet handling. The 2-in-1 pitch design and variable tread width reduce tread noise, providing a quieter, more comfortable ride. The computer-simulated V-shaped drainage grooves increase resistance to aquaplaning at high speeds on very wet roads. The sipes on the shoulder edges ensure even and slower tread wear.
