Safety and warning notices
This device can measure potentially lethal voltages. Special caution is required when measuring voltages above 42 V. Wear safety gloves to protect against electric shocks. When applying the test probes, ensure that your fingers are behind the slip guard. Do not take measurements if the device or test leads are damaged. Damaged test leads must be replaced with original test leads. Use the device only indoors and protect it from dripping and splashing water, high humidity, and heat (permissible operating temperature range 0 - 40 °C). If not used for an extended period, remove the batteries. This will prevent damage to the device in case of battery leakage. If the device is to be permanently taken out of service, hand it over to a local recycling facility for environmentally friendly disposal. Batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of in household waste. Dispose of them according to local regulations in special waste.
