Product details
For the insulation of damp and wet walls. Ideal for insulating damp and wet walls both indoors and outdoors. Also suitable for sealing moisture in masonry, on plastered walls, on concrete, in basement areas, on foundations, in damp rooms such as bathrooms, showers, kitchens, on retaining walls, wells, and plant boxes. Applicable to all mineral substrates that are not gypsum-based, e.g., masonry made of lime-sand bricks, aerated concrete blocks, bricks, etc. Molto Moisture Blocker can be used above and below ground and can also be applied to slightly damp surfaces.
Application: The substrate must be sufficiently firm and stable, as well as free from layers that reduce adhesion, such as dust, dirt, and loose particles. Seal cracks, holes, and unevenness with a suitable Molto powder filler. Stabilize slightly sandy plaster layers with Molto deep primer. Remove salt efflorescence from masonry with Molto saltpeter remover. Prevent further moisture ingress into the masonry through professional measures. Shake Molto Moisture Blocker well for at least one minute before use – the product is ready to use. Spray the layers evenly. Generally, two layers are sufficient. For very porous substrates, three layers should be applied. Before applying the second or third coat, the previous coat must be thoroughly dried. After drying, Molto Moisture Blocker can be overcoated with alkaline-resistant dispersion paints.
Ingredients: Acrylic resin, titanium dioxide, fillers, solvents, additives. Coverage: 2-4 m². Ideal for insulating damp and wet walls both indoors and outdoors. Ready to use, quick-drying, applicable on damp surfaces, alkali- and mold-resistant.
