The Quality of Manufacturing The MOB Group acquired the European market leader for files and rasps, TALABOT, 30 years ago. The files are characterized by a long lifespan of the cutting edge, thanks to high carbon steel (1.3 to 1.4%). It is alloyed with chromium to achieve a strong bite. MOB checks the chemical composition of the steel with every casting. Through perfect control of the hardening process, which is crucial for the quality of the cutting edge, hardness levels of 65±2 HRC for the files can be guaranteed. MOB files comply with the NF E 75 001-75 002 standard. Dimensions: Files are defined by their length (without the tang) in mm and their cut: bastard for coarse filing, medium for general filing, and smooth for fine filing. Two-component handle: Polypropylene, durable and relief-textured for precise work, and elastomer, soft and comfortable - reduces sweating and overheating of the hand.
