How to do it: Unlocking: Turn the knob counterclockwise until it stops. Set the desired torque value by turning the handle. The scale markings on the scale ring must align with the scale centerline of 42 Nm - 210 Nm on the torque wrench. The scale ring is graduated from 1-14 Nm (0 = 14). The Nm scale on the torque wrench also increases by 14 Nm increments. This allows for precise setting of any value, for example, 165 Nm. Locking: Turn the knob clockwise until it stops. Attach the tool, e.g., a socket. Tighten evenly. The set torque is acoustically indicated by a clearly audible click sound. At high torque, the signals are stronger than at low torque. When the set torque value is reached, there is a noticeable jerk in the device. Tightening aluminum wheel nuts should generally be done with a torque wrench. Over-tightened wheel nuts can lead to warping of the brake disc or deformation/cracking of the rim.
