Drilling holes with an impact wrench requires minimal effort and can be done with one hand, making work on ladders or overhead safer. Thanks to a special zone-hardening process, the drill bit features an extra hard shank, a perfectly flexible spiral for torque transfer, and a stable tip for long-lasting performance even when used with impact wrenches. The new Milwaukee special cutting head, with its hardened thread tip and main cutting edge, is ideally suited for use with impact wrenches. The optimal 20° angle allows for quick chip removal and continuous self-feeding. The polished and powder-coated spiral ensures optimal chip transport and higher drilling feed rates. Milling marks are removed during finishing, resulting in a very smooth surface. The Lewis spiral, with its large, wide winding, is perfect for fast chip transport. The sharpened cutting edges are ideal for clean drilling progress. The cutting edges can be resharpened. With a 7/16 inch shank, it is suitable for use with 1/2 inch impact wrenches (adapter required). Suitable for hard and softwood, wet or treated wood, plywood, particle board, WPC wood, glued wood, and tropical woods such as Bongossi, Iroko, or Teak.
