Light Requirements:
Sansevierias prefer bright to partially shaded locations. They can be placed in direct sunlight but also tolerate shady conditions well. A window facing east or west is often ideal. Sansevierias are robust and adaptable plants that can thrive indoors under artificial light as long as they receive enough brightness. Tip: To promote even growth, it is helpful to occasionally rotate the Sansevieria so that all sides receive equal light.

Watering:
The Sansevieria, also known as mother-in-law's tongue, is a very low-maintenance houseplant. Water your Sansevieria sparingly. During the growing season (spring and summer), it is usually sufficient to water every 2-4 weeks. In the dormant phase (autumn and winter), reduce watering to once a month or even less. Always check the soil moisture before watering. Stick your finger about 2-3 cm into the soil; if the soil feels dry, it's time to water. If the soil is still moist, wait a few more days and check again. Overwatering: Yellow leaves, mushy stems, and root rot are signs of overwatering. In this case, you should reduce watering and allow the soil to dry out completely before watering again. Underwatering: Brown, dry leaf tips may indicate underwatering. If this is the case, water the plant and adjust your watering schedule accordingly.
