The METZ Modbus is a highly advanced Modbus module specifically designed for decentralized switching tasks. With four digital outputs, it enables the switching of electrical components such as motors, relays, lamps, and blinds. The relay contacts are designed to be protected by appropriate load-dependent measures. A manual control interface allows for the manual operation of the relays, while control is carried out via a Modbus master. The addressing of the module, as well as the setting of bitrate and parity, can be done through two address switches on the front or via software. The module is suitable for decentralized mounting on a TH35 mounting rail according to IEC 60715 in electrical distribution boards and offers easy connection via screw terminals.
