This Metabo HM core drill with a diameter of 28x55 mm and a Weldon shank of 19 mm (3/4") is perfectly suited for drilling core holes. It can be used for core drills with a diameter of 14 - 60 mm, as long as they have a 19 mm Weldon shank. For larger core drills starting from a diameter of 70 mm, a Weldon shank of 32 mm (1 1/4") is required. To achieve precise results, the Metabo HM core drill should only be used in conjunction with the appropriate centering pin. This ensures secure guidance and prevents slipping or misalignment of the drill. In addition to standard steels, this core drill is also suitable for higher alloyed steels.
