Combination hammer with 2 functions: hammer drilling and chiseling. Metabo VibraTech (MVT) features an integrated damping system to reduce vibrations for health protection. It has an easily accessible locking switch for continuous chiseling. The Vario-Constamatic (VC) full-wave electronics allows for operation at material-appropriate speeds that remain nearly constant under load. A setting wheel is included to pre-select the speed and impact rate. The electronic soft start enables precise drilling. The magnesium die-cast housing ensures optimal heat dissipation and a low weight. The Metabo S-automatic safety clutch provides mechanical decoupling of the drive when the drill bit jams, ensuring safe operation. The restart protection prevents unintentional starting after a power interruption. Dust-free chiseling and drilling can be achieved with the external dust extraction ESA max (accessory). A wear indicator for the carbon brushes is present, as well as a service indicator for upcoming carbon brush replacement and a light signal for mains voltage. An early warning system via a service LED allows for targeted planning of carbon brush replacement 8 working hours before shutdown.
