For System M, this motion detector is designed for indoor use and features creep under protection. The sensor module detects moving heat sources, such as people, within an adjustable detection range and activates staircase lighting for a specified duration. It includes a light sensor with an adjustable brightness threshold, ensuring that the lighting only turns on when the ambient light falls below a certain level.
