The D-Safety System is a first-generation screw safety system that is widely used in many installations. It is applicable in low-voltage systems where the fuse inserts can also be replaced by non-professionals. The D-Safety range includes sizes NDZ, DII, DIII, DIV, and DV. D-Safety bases with D-Safety inserts of operational class gG protect lines and installations. D-Safety inserts reliably disconnect excessive currents and short-circuit currents up to the rated disconnection current, protecting electrical devices and installations from the electrodynamic effects of high short-circuit currents. The D-Holding Sleeve enables the use of DII fuse inserts in DIII bases.
