The new DET3 series grounding measurement devices from Megger offer unique solutions for your grounding measurements. The complete kit, which includes the measuring device, test leads, and stakes, is delivered in a robust hard case – everything you need for your measurements. The housing of the grounding measurement device has an IP54 protection rating, making it suitable for outdoor use. The device is designed to be user-friendly: a large selector switch makes it easy to choose between 2- or 3-wire grounding measurements. With its large and easy-to-read LCD display and a big start button, the device is particularly well-suited for outdoor grounding measurement requirements. The devices automatically check probe and auxiliary ground resistance and display the status on the LCD screen. Additionally, the device includes a voltmeter for measuring ground voltage, with a maximum measurement voltage that can be set to 25 or 50 V. With the DET3TC grounding measurement device, a selective grounding measurement (ART) can be performed using the optional current clamp, allowing for the testing of individual grounds without disconnecting them, thus keeping the grounding system intact during measurement.
