The DCM1500 clamp meter for currents up to 1,500 A with measurement category CAT IV and True RMS is designed for troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and recurring tests, especially for utility companies and in all industrial electrical systems. With the peak function and a very fast sampling rate of 10 ms, it can capture even very short inrush currents. The clamp meter measures resistances and frequencies as well as direct and alternating currents up to 1500 A and voltages up to 750 V AC and 1,000 V DC. Another advantage of the DCM1500 is its capability to measure direct currents in generators, photovoltaic systems, electric vehicles, elevator systems, electroplating systems, electric welding machines, and uninterruptible power supplies. The protruding knurled wheel allows for convenient adjustment with the right thumb, enabling complete one-handed operation.
