The Mechanix Wear Pursuit D5 glove from the Tactical Line is an anatomically shaped all-round glove. Compared to other models, only the palm and the inner sides of the fingers are cut-resistant, anatomically fitted, and made with synthetic leather, ensuring lasting grip in any conceivable operational environment. The ultimate cut-resistant lining made of ARMOR-TEX in the area of the inner hands protects against cuts. To minimize the restriction of tactile sensitivity, ARMOR-TEX is lighter than comparable cut-resistant linings. This is evidenced by the Level 5 test - the currently highest possible cut protection category according to EN 388. The thumb and index finger are touchscreen compatible. Thin, breathable inserts along the sides of the fingers provide relief from pressure and heat build-up. The often heavily stressed thumb joint is reinforced. The upper material is airy yet very robust. A TPR-coated Velcro closure ensures a secure fit at the wrist. The elastic material on the back of the hand is breathable and provides comfort and more efficient moisture transport. There is a Velcro tab at the cuff. The special hook-and-loop fastener is gentle on clothing, especially the sleeve cuff.
