Place plant parts such as flowers or petals into a bucket of very cold water and add ice cubes. The cold causes the resin glands to harden, making them filterable. Stir with a mixer for 10 to 30 minutes and chill for another 15 to 30 minutes, adding more ice as needed. The colder, the better! Insert sieve bag 1 with 220 µ into a fresh bucket and pour the water with the plant mass until it is green and frothy. The plant mass can still be used for a second round. Hang the other sieve bags in order - starting with the finest, then the next coarsest, and so on - in a new bucket and slowly pour in the previously drained green water, allowing it to pass through the bags. This will leave a brown-green sludge in the bags. Scrape this off the bottom of the sieve with a plastic card and let it dry.
