Light: Maranta plants are accustomed to the demands of the rainforest and thrive in a warm, humid atmosphere. They should be placed in a partially shaded to shady location.

Watering: Keep the soil slightly moist. It should never dry out; otherwise, the leaves will be severely damaged. As a rule, watering every 1-2 weeks is sufficient.

Humidity: Pay attention to the humidity around the plant, as Calatheas prefer high humidity. Occasionally misting the leaves with water or placing a humidifier nearby can help.
