Origin
Philodendron 'Pink Princess' has its origins in the rainforests of South America. It is a cultivar of the Philodendron erubescens species. This exotic plant is rarely found in the wild. The 'Pink Princess' has been specially bred for its unique colour palette and is produced in nurseries worldwide.
Characteristics
Philodendron 'Pink Princess' is known for its striking green-pink leaves, which gave it its name. Each leaf is unique, with an alternating ratio of green and pink. It grows on average between 60 and 90 centimetres in height.
Care
For optimum growth, the 'Pink Princess' needs sufficient indirect sunlight. It is important to keep the soil moist but avoid water saturation to prevent root rot. An average room temperature between 16 and 24 degrees Celsius is ideal. As with most Philodendrons, this plant also benefits from high humidity.
