MagPaint Chalkboard Paint is a water-based interior paint for walls and furniture. Once fully dried, it can be written on and drawn with all common chalk markers. Oil-based markers should not be used. MagPaint Chalkboard Paint can be applied to all standard surfaces. A special application is the additional coating of MagPaint Magnetic Paint with MagPaint Chalkboard Paint, for use with magnets and chalk markers.
Surface Preparation
All surfaces must be clean, dry, free of dust and grease, and structurally sound. Old non-adhering or non-load-bearing coatings must be removed. Metallic surfaces, untreated wood surfaces, and plastic substrates must be pre-coated with a primer. For wood, the residual moisture must not exceed 17%. Existing glossy old coatings must be sanded. Always follow the usage instructions and technical data sheet. No liability is accepted for incorrect application.
Application
Stir thoroughly before use. Then apply one to two coats of MagPaint Chalkboard Paint.
