Product details

With the drilling station, MAFELL revolutionizes solid wood drilling from the ground up and offers the highest precision compared to drilling frames. The drilling station impresses with its clever design based on a robust and lightweight aluminum profile column.

The single-column guide provides decisive advantages: better visibility of the starting point and drill tip, ample space for drill changes, and no more misalignment during the drilling process. Furthermore, MAFELL demonstrates expertise down to the details and practical relevance: thanks to the six-fold guided, infinitely adjustable drill guide, the drilling station achieves precise drillings in previously unknown forms. Since only the highest quality materials are used in the new MAFELL drilling station, durability is built-in – typical of MAFELL.

The 80 mm high drill guide, equipped with six vertically mounted rollers, perfectly guides the drill through an iris-like adjustment mechanism, preventing the drill from wandering. The pulling force of the polyethylene rope can be individually adjusted to reduce feed pressure during horizontal work, for example. After drilling, the machine automatically returns to the starting position.

The S-variants can be precisely aligned on both sides using a scale of +/- 45° and can be locked at 0° – the drill tip at the level of the base plate serves as the pivot axis.

Precision and series drilling, angled drilling, material use: solid wood and laminated beams.
