Give your Tesla a unique look with our matte black Tesla lettering for the tailgate, suitable for all Tesla models. The lettering resembles the original but gives your Tesla a sporty appearance thanks to its matte black color. The letters are already positioned in a matching foam template and have an adhesive strip on the back, making installation easier.

For a hassle-free installation, simply remove the old Tesla emblem or the chrome Tesla lettering. Then, the new Tesla lettering can be easily applied using the foam template.

Installation tip: It is advisable to clean the tailgate beforehand. Before removing the old lettering, the exact position should be marked. If there is a Tesla logo on the tailgate, it is recommended to mark the center for later alignment of the lettering before removing the logo. This can be easily done with some tape. Then, carefully remove the individual letters or the attached logo. Tools such as dental floss, fishing line, or a map can be used. Residual adhesive can be removed with a hairdryer and special adhesive removers through heat. If necessary, polish with fine polishing compound afterward. Then, peel off the first carrier film from the letters, ensuring that the letters remain in the template. Next, carefully stick the letters with the template onto the cleaned surface and press down firmly. Once the letters adhere, the template can be removed along with the other carrier film.
