The arm is optimally balanced and holds its position without the need for readjustment. For safety reasons, it operates at a low voltage through a separate, GS-certified power supply. The light color is daylight-like (6500 K), which allows for neutral color representation of objects. SMD LED modules provide high brightness and good light quality while ensuring optimal heat dissipation. The product is suitable for various applications such as cosmetics, precision mechanics, electronics, or simply as a reading aid. Three different available magnification factors of the lens allow for nearly unlimited usage possibilities. It is recommended to choose a slightly smaller magnification, as distortions tend to increase with higher magnifications due to technical reasons. It can also be used excellently as a desk lamp. The removable lens cover does not break upon rough impacts but instead slides out of the housing with a designed slight play and is easy to reinsert.

The available models are:

• 3 Diopters (Model 7213MKIII), equivalent to 1.75x magnification (175%), universally applicable.
• 5 Diopters (Model 7215MKIII), equivalent to 2.25x magnification (225%), universally applicable.
• 8 Diopters (Model 7218MKIII), equivalent to 3x magnification (300%), particularly suitable for the highly magnified representation of very small objects.
