Form/Appearance: medium-large, beautifully tall, with a deep and wide calyx cavity.
Texture/Firmness: firm, fine-celled, and crunchy. But never tough, releases juice well.
Taste/Aroma: this first blonde new introduction from Lubera is the opposite of a Golden: exciting, with plenty of aroma even in spring after storage, and not just a lot of sugar, but also a lot of acidity!
Growth/Health: moderately vigorous growth, well-shaped, beautiful tree. Very productive, resistant to scab, little powdery mildew.
Harvest/Maturity/Storage: around October 10, directly from the tree, the Blonde Patrizia retains its aroma in a noble, patrician manner, still more green than yellow; it holds back its charms. Patrizia should be stored for 1-3 months before enjoyment, a top storage variety!
Final size for standard tree: Height: 2-2.5 m, crown diameter: 1.2-2 m.
