The counter nut from Lapp Kabel, type SKINDICHT SM-M 40X1.5, is a high-quality solution for cable glands. It is made of nickel-plated brass and offers high resistance to chemical and mechanical stress. This counter nut is specifically designed for thin-walled enclosures without threads that only allow a through hole. It is used to secure a SKINTOP® or SKINDICHT® cable gland on the inside of the enclosure. With a maximum operating temperature of 200 °C and a minimum of -60 °C, it is suitable for a wide range of applications. The counter nut has a thread length of 5 mm and a thread size of M40, making it a versatile component in electrical engineering.
