The locking nut and cable gland from Lapp are made of nickel-plated brass and are available with PG or metric threads. These cable glands are suitable for cables with or without an inner sheath.

Features and benefits include a low screen contact resistance for optimal EMC protection, highly conductive and flexible EMC contact for clamping various screen diameters. The cable is centered and secured, strain relief is provided, and the housing is airtight sealed to IP68 standards. It offers mechanical strength and is easy to assemble. The housing is made of nickel-plated brass with a polyamide insert and a neoprene sealing ring.

Typical applications include a wide range of uses in production facilities and plant engineering, as well as in measuring and testing devices, particularly for cable glands in EMC applications and for painted, anodized, or powder-coated housings.
