NYY-J are cables with insulation and an outer sheath made of PVC. Multi-core and multi-stranded power cables have a common core wrapping or a filler around the twisted conductors.

Mechanical and thermal properties:
Minimum bending radius for single-core: 15 x outer diameter
multi-core: 12 x outer diameter

Temperature range during installation: -5 °C to +50 °C
max. conductor temperature when permanently installed: -40 °C to +70 °C

Max. conductor temperature fire behavior according to IEC 60332-1-2 or EN 60332-1-2
