The KE7000 UTP/STP cable tester is a practical testing device specifically designed for checking patch, LAN, and telecommunications cabling. This set consists of two cable testers that can test both unshielded (UTP) and shielded (STP) twisted pair connection cables in installed networks and patch cables. With an optional adapter, it is also possible to test coaxial cables. The devices are designed to automatically configure as master and slave, meaning that the status of the tests can be read at both ends. This saves time and increases efficiency. The graphical displays clearly indicate errors such as miswiring, interruptions, and short circuits, eliminating the need for cumbersome note-taking of blinking LEDs. With a battery life of up to 100 hours, the KE7000 is ideal for longer deployments and warns of foreign voltage on the cables.
