The easy-to-use Kreul Glass & Porcelain "Classic-Metallic" colours can be used to create beautiful metallic effects on heat-resistant and smooth materials. The Kreul Glass & Porcelain "Classic-Metallic" colour is water-based and consists of at least 60% sustainable raw materials of natural origin. The colour is highly opaque and dries with a unique metallic sheen. With the Kreul Glass & Porcelain "Colour Thinner", the various colours can be thinned as desired to achieve individual watercolour effects. The selected colour shades can be combined perfectly and set no limits to the imagination. Beautiful and long-lasting effects can be created on glass, porcelain, ceramics, metal or terracotta. The glass and porcelain paint is applied with a hairbrush of any thickness. A pencil is recommended for freehand drawings. It is important to ensure that the lines are not painted over so that they can be easily removed after firing. Kreul Glass & Porcelain stands for lasting durability. To achieve this, the colour must be baked at approx. 160 °C after a drying time of approx. 4 hours. To do this, place the object in a cold oven and wait 90 minutes after the required temperature has been reached. In order to complete the baking process correctly, the object must cool down in the oven. Only then is the colour waterproof, dishwasher-safe and saliva-proof. Important. Surfaces that come into contact with food must not be painted, as the colour is not food-safe. Drinking rims or inner surfaces of glasses and cups, utility and eating areas, as well as cut surfaces of plates should be left out. As long as the colour is not baked on, the paint can be easily removed with water.
