Product details

Execution: Offset drilling with a diameter-dependent capability of up to 1.5 mm. This product features a special manufacturing process that allows for extremely large chip spaces while maintaining maximum rigidity. The specific positioning of the indexable cutting inserts ensures chip-free drilling and precise dimensional accuracy (±0.1 mm in normal cases). Internal cooling is provided directly at the cutting edges, with a sophisticated geometry that is ideal for minimum quantity lubrication. A coolant pressure of 3 to 10 bar is sufficient. This tool is suitable for both stationary and rotating use.

Note: Caution! A disc may fall off upon drill exit, posing a risk of injury with rotating workpieces. Please take necessary safety precautions.

On request, options include left-hand cutting, 2×D, other diameters, special designs, and torsional vibration dampers for ABS to achieve low-vibration machining, maximum tool life, and minimal noise levels.

Delivery includes clamping screws (without indexable cutting inserts). Usage is with indexable cutting inserts No. 236740 to 237080.
