Kobre®Tec Felt Filter Eco pumped, max. flow 15,000 l/h. The Kobre®Tec Felt Filter Eco is particularly well-suited for koi and swimming ponds. It combines the advantages of a trickle filter with the separation performance of a drum filter and the reliability of a Swiss watch. The fully automatic filter is easy to install, guarantees the highest separation performance, and ensures the best water quality. It is also characterized by low maintenance.

The operating principle of a felt filter: Pond water flows through the felt, binding all dirt (such as fish waste, plant and algae debris, down to the smallest suspended particles) on the felt. Through the "trickle effect" of the water on its way to the bio chamber, it becomes enriched with oxygen. This leads to impeccable nitrification in the bio chamber, converting toxins into harmless nitrate. As the filter felt gradually becomes saturated with dirt, the water level in the filter rises. The float switch then automatically triggers the felt feed. The filter felt is pulled back by a few centimeters. The water level drops, and the process starts all over again.

The Kobre®Tec Felt Filter Eco and the Kobre®Tec Bio Basin are two separate items. The filter can also be purchased without the bio basin.
