KobrePond pH/KH Minus

Kobre®Pond pH/KH Minus 5000ml lowers the pH level. It is used to reduce hardness in hard water and to prepare the water appropriately for fish and technology. Kobre®Pond pH/KH Minus ensures a safe and rapid decrease in pH and carbonate hardness (KH) in the pond. The softened pond water prevents unsightly lime deposits and protects pond technology from lime damage. Additionally, it compensates for CO2 deficiency in pond plants. The nutrients dissolved in the water can be better absorbed and utilized, resulting in more vigorous plant growth. Kobre®Pond pH/KH Minus should be used with every new filling, after larger water changes, or generally when pH and KH values are high. To lower the carbonate hardness (KH) by 1 °dKH, approximately 250 ml of Kobre®Pond pH/KH Minus is required per 1000 liters of pond water. Pour the required amount into a bucket and then dilute it with 20 times that amount of water. Distribute half of it evenly in the pond, and the second half after a waiting period of 6 hours. Repeat the dosage until the desired result is achieved. Do not apply more than double the dose per day, as sudden pH/KH fluctuations can be harmful to fish. During the application period, ensure good aeration of the pond and do not pour directly over animals or plants. The product can ideally be combined with Kobre®Pond water conditioner and works independently of water temperature.
