Knuchel Durovite

DUROVIT is a water-thinnable, silky matt acrylic dispersion paint with the highest degree of whiteness. It is the quality product among the internal dispersions thanks to its high resistance to washing and abrasion (over 15,000 batches), opacity (in many cases one coat of paint is sufficient) and yield (low specific weight). DUROVIT is pleasantly easy to use, without any build-up, has a low odour and hardly splashes when rolled. DUROVIT coatings are characterised by low sensitivity to dirt, high adhesion strength and alkali resistance. The coatings remain breathable, lightfast (no dark or light yellowing), resistant to ageing and elastic.

Field of application:
As wall and ceiling paint for interior use in new buildings and in the renovation sector. Suitable for all mineral substrates such as cement, lime or plastic plasters, masonry, exposed concrete, gypsum, eternit as well as wood, wallpaper, polystyrene, etc.

Pretreatment:
The substrate must be clean, dry and stable. First solidify absorbent or sandy substrates with Deep Ground. Wash off old lime and blanc fix coats as thoroughly as possible and fix with deep primer. Freshly applied plastic, silicone or mineral plasters must be well dried before overpainting, otherwise stress cracks may occur. Do not use below 8°C.

Cleaning:
Clean tools immediately with water. Dried paint can only be removed with cleaning thinner or brush cleaner.
