Knuchel Durovit

Durovit is a water-dilutable, semi-gloss acrylic emulsion paint with the highest degree of whiteness. It is the quality product among interior dispersions thanks to its high resistance to washing and scrubbing (over 15,000 coats), opacity (one coat is often sufficient) and coverage (low specific weight). Durovit is pleasantly easy to apply with no build-up, has a low odour and hardly splatters when rolling. Durovit coatings are characterised by low sensitivity to dirt, high adhesion and alkali resistance. The coatings remain breathable, lightfast (no dark or light yellowing), age-resistant and elastic. Area of application: As an interior wall and ceiling paint for new builds and renovations. Suitable for all mineral substrates such as cement, lime or synthetic plasters, masonry, exposed concrete, plaster, Eternit as well as wood, wallpaper, polystyrene, etc. Pre-treatment: The substrate must be clean, dry and sound. Absorbent or sanding substrates must first be stabilised with a deep penetrating primer. Wash off old lime and blanc fix coats as thoroughly as possible and fix with deep primer. Freshly applied plastic, silicone or mineral plasters must be thoroughly dry before overcoating, otherwise stress cracks may occur. Do not apply at temperatures below 8°C. Cleaning: Clean tools immediately with water. Dried paint can only be removed with cleaning thinner or brush cleaner.
