Knipex StepCut

Small, lightweight, powerful: comfortable cutting without crushing and only 160 mm in size. Significantly less effort required: the stepped design cuts wires one after the other. Cutting is up to 40% easier than with conventional cable cutters of the same length. The ergonomic handle design ensures an optimal cutting feel, even with larger cable diameters.

Cuts multi-stranded, fine-wired copper and aluminum cables up to Ø 15 mm (50 mm²). Cuts solid copper and aluminum cables up to 5 x 4 mm². Cuts without crushing. The bolted connection ensures precise, effortless, and durable performance. Not suitable for steel wire and hard-drawn copper conductors. The cutting edges are additionally induction-hardened, with a cutting edge hardness of approximately 56 HRC.
