Straight carving chisel with deep hollow, featuring an octagonal beechwood handle "KIRSCHEN". Carving chisels are hand-forged from special tool steel with a high carbon content. They have a hardness of ± HRc 61 over the entire usable length of the blade, significantly exceeding DIN standards, and produce a smooth cut due to their flawlessly polished surface. The chisels are factory-sharpened with a cutting angle of 17°, making them ready for use. This angle is suitable for soft to medium-hard wood. Carving chisels are ideal for small to medium sculpting work for decorative carving or inlays.
