Transition profiles are used as a cover between two different or similar floor coverings to level heights or cover seams. Before drilling, the old floor coverings should be removed. Position the cut profile at the selected location and mark the dowel positions of the profile. The two outer holes should be positioned as close to the edge as possible. Especially with loop pile carpet, ensure that no loops wrap around the drill. If necessary, pre-punch the drilling points. Use a 5 mm drill bit to drill the previously marked holes for the dowels. Vacuum the drill holes to ensure no debris remains in the holes or under the profile. Insert the dowels and tighten the screws with a suitable screwdriver. Alternatively, the transition profile is also available in a self-adhesive version. In this case, the adhesive strip on the back can be used to secure the profile.
