Transition profiles are used as a cover between two different or the same floor coverings to compensate for height differences or to cover seams. Before drilling, the old floor coverings should be removed. Position the cut profile at the selected location and mark the dowel positions of the profile. The two outer holes should be positioned as close to the edge as possible. Especially with loop pile carpet, ensure that no loops wrap around the drill. If necessary, pre-punch the drilling location. Using a 5 mm drill bit, drill the holes for the dowels as previously marked on the substrate. Vacuum the drill holes to ensure no debris remains in the holes or under the profile. Insert the dowels and tighten the screws with an appropriate screwdriver. Alternatively, the transition profile is also available in a self-adhesive version. In this case, the adhesive strip on the back can be used to secure the profile.
