These cacti prefer to be placed in a sunny window or at least near a window, and they enjoy being outside in the summer. Water them thoroughly every 10 days in spring and summer, but make sure the soil dries out completely between waterings. In winter, water them sparingly, no more than once a month, and they should not be growing. The more sunlight the plants receive, the hairier they will become.
