These durable, robust chains have proven themselves for decades. They provide an excellent signaling effect due to their striking, light-resistant traffic colors. The chains are tested for tensile strength meter by meter, and each bundle carries the test mark. Made from high-quality, UV and weather-resistant nylon, they are also resistant to seawater and many chemical compounds. The chains are physiologically harmless, neither electrically nor thermally conductive, and are non-magnetic. They withstand temperatures from -40 °C to +80 °C and are lightweight.

Barrier chains are used in conjunction with barrier posts to delineate roads, sidewalks, parking lots, and more. Like many street installations, they are subjected to high loads, such as vandalism. Therefore, tensile strength and resistance of barrier chains are important purchasing criteria.
