The Kaiser radiation protection box is designed for use in lead-lined walls and protects against medically used radiation, such as in X-ray facilities. The radiation protection material with an integrated lead function component absorbs harmful X-ray radiation as efficiently as 2.5 mm thick lead, with a lead equivalence of 2.5 mm Pb. The radiation protection of the wall remains fully intact even when installation boxes are installed.
