Indication of the set operating mode is provided by means of an LED. The device can be operated without a neutral conductor. It includes a lamp-protecting soft start for switch-on. The switch-on brightness can be permanently stored, as can the minimum brightness. Connection of extension units is possible. The device also includes electronic short-circuit protection with permanent switch-off after 7 seconds at the latest, along with electronic overtemperature protection.
