The screw-mounted resistance thermometer allows for temperature measurements in many indoor areas of climate technology due to the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor and the special housing design. The housing, with an IP20 protection rating, is made of PC plastic and is designed for temperatures ranging from -30 to +80 °C. Therefore, the resistance thermometer is preferably used for temperature measurements in dry rooms. The resistance thermometer complies with DIN EN 60751 (Class B) and is configured as 1 x Pt100 in a two-wire circuit. The built-in analog transmitter provides a standardized signal of 4 to 20 mA for the measuring range of 0 to 40 °C.
